An authentic sauce from west Bengal, that consists of fresh green Chillies and other hot spices.
Ingredients
Onions, Water, Rapeseed Oil, Potatoes, Green
Peppers, Peeled Tomatoes, Spices (MUSTARD), Green
Chillies, Salt, Garlic, Ginger, Tomato Puree, Carrots, Malt Vinegar
(BARLEY), Lemon Juice (SULPHITES), Fresh Coriander, Mint,
Fenugreek, Tamarind, Naga Chillies, Acetic & Lactic Acid.
LAMB JALFREZI
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add 500g diced lamb stir
fry until golden brown. Pour over the sauce and simmer
until tender, stir occasionally. Serve with rice or naan bread.
Equally delicious with chicken, beef, prawns or just vegetables.
